Net Capital may be Positive or Negative. To Find out Net Capital, we have to deduct Gross Liability from Gross Capital.

So Net Capital =Gross Capital or Total Asset Less Gross Liability or Total Liability.

Situation Result
Total Asset More than Total LiabilityNet Capital is Positive
Total Liability More Than Total Asset Net Capital is Negative
